Founded in 2014, Revel is a small cidery in Guelph, Ontario. We are committed to making high-quality, delicious and innovative ciders, wines and aperitifs that change perceptions of what each of these products can be.

Revel Cider is hiring a Cider Maker. We are a very small company making some very creative liquids. 

This job involves a lot of cleaning, packaging (bottles, cans, kegs) and moving liquid around in general. There is a lot of room to learn as we are a very small team. There will be ample opportunity to have input on blends as well.

We work exclusively with whole fruit (no purees or concentrates). We also work with quite a few different foraged ingredients so you will have the chance to taste through some of the best fruits and flowers that Ontario has to offer.

The ideal person will be someone who likes thinking creatively to solve problems, is interested in native yeast fermentation, is physically fit, organized and a good communicator. Self-awareness and the ability to admit what you don't know are key traits.

This is a salaried, entry level position with room to grow as you learn. The salary is $50,000/year.

The ideal candidate will be well organized, independent and enjoy creative problem solving in a winery, brewery or cidery setting. Our ciders are heavily influenced by the world of wine and beer, and we are looking for someone with some experience in cellaring or packaging. Excellent interpersonal skills are required.

The duties of this role include, but are not limited to:

• Harvesting and processing fruit.
• Monitoring fermentations.
• Cellar work.
• Carbonation and packaging in bottle, can and keg formats.
• Cleaning production equipment.
• General record keeping.
• Inventory management.

High level competency in the following systems is considered an asset:

• MacOSX.
• Excel, Numbers or equivalent spreadsheet software.
• Wild Goose Canning Line (or equivalent canning system).
• GAI Bottling Line (or equivalent system).
