Khaki Scout
Khaki Scout is a tour across the Canadian province of Ontario.
From Montmorency cherries and hybrid grapes grown by the shores of Lake Ontario, to apples raised off the coast of Lake Huron, and dandelions foraged right in between, on a farm just south of our own town, Guelph.
What's it like? It smells like dewy grass, black cherries and currants, with wafts of a fresh bloom of yellow dandelions after three consecutive sunny days. Khaki Scout drinks like a dry lambrusco.
It tastes like the joy of collecting badges as a kid, except instead of badges we found real life—in this special place we call home.
