Line Drawing is spontaneously fermented cider, steeped with orange wine skins (Vidal) for 5 months.
We then laid it down to rest for another 4 months in bottle, turning the textural cider into a disco funk party.
What's it like?: It drinks like an echo of orange wine: with the funk and salinity dials bumped up. You can expect soft, smooth tannins, restrained acidity, and distinct honeycomb and canteloupe aromas. Notes of sweet lemon rind bring it all together.
It's kind of like stripping the leaves off of a yarrow plant, tannic white tea, and farmhouse honeycomb all rolled into one.
Line Drawing is always one of our favourite tiny, tiny releases of the year. This year is no different.
