Two Friends is a sparkling red wine we made in collaboration with our friend Meg, who owns Two Faces Bar in Guelph, Ontario.

It's a blend of 2021 Blaufrankish and Rotburger, with 2025 Chambourcin and Cabernet Franc. The older wines were aged oak puncheons for 4 years, the Cabernet Franc fermented in clay amphora, and the Chambourcin in stainless steel.

What's it like?: Two Friends drinks like a dry Lambrusco. The aroma is leafy with an undercurrent of vanilla and wild blackberries. Vanilla carries through in the flavour, but it doesn't feel sweet — raspberries, blackberries, blackcurrants and fine grape tannins carry through beautifully. Zippy little bubbles dance on your tongue. It's the kind of wine that immediately has you reaching for another sip.

Ingredients: Grapes. Gluten free.

Unfined, unfiltered, wild fermented, zero residual sugar.
