Breccia
Breccia is an amphora aged perry from 2022.
Perry tends to have more body than cider, because pears naturally contain unfermentable sugars.
With Breccia, we wanted to see what the additional salinity from our limestone-rich clay amphorae would add. It spent 3 months in amphora, and the result is funky and delicious.
What's it like?: This perry smells like the pear skins and the greener notes of tulips and magnolia flowers, with yellow plum and soft acid in flavour. The natural limestone in our amphora softens the acidity, giving Breccia a silken texture.
Breccia is quite juicy, but we still wanted to allow the texture and minerality of the clay to shine. It tastes of Bosc pears, clay salinity and plush juice, all interwoven together.

Ingredients: Pears. Gluten free.
Zero residual sugar (beyond the natural sorbitol of the pears). Wild fermented. Vegan.
