I think about Long Story as our first Apera: the term for new world sherry.

But it's also so much more than sherry.

Long Story is a single barrel blend of saline, sherry-like Sauvignon Blanc (2020), with a cider from tannic, Kingston Black apples (2025).

What's it like?: Long Story is pretty magical. Rich, salty oak melds with something like oxidative papaya on the nose, to create a mind-bending maraschino / white-tea profile. It's weighty, tart, still and lightly fortified to 15%. Meant to sip and contemplate. 

Enjoy it chilled, or over a big ice cube. Or in a cocktail, in place of extra dry fino sherry. If you loved our vermouth, you'll like this aperitif too.
